Girls Hockey Development

Our Girls Hockey Development Program (GHDP) is newly expanded and better than ever!

We are so proud of our community for female players - the GHDP provides a safe, fun, and healthy environment for girls to form a love for the game of hockey, to grow and improve as athletes, and to develop as young leaders off and on the ice.

This program will run throughout the entire season and girls registered in this program will get full access to all the fun and exciting events throughout the season.

FREE for all girls enrolled in the Comets Travel Program (whether VHL Coed or MYC Girls)

$350 | All girls not already enrolled in the Comets Travel Program (regardless if they play for another town or club affiliate)

Metrowest U14-U19 Girls Goalie Clinics @ Chase Arena

The Comets are committed to providing a comprehensive development program for our female athletes and are providing female-only goalie, small group goalie clinics for U14-U19 goaltenders. These sessions will be led by Coach Bean Clark and held during the Girls Hockey Development Program (GHDP) in one end zone, providing goaltenders with 50-minutes of specialized training on edgework and balance, depth control, play reading, puck handling, and tracking. Comets goaltenders are free of charge for this clinic and outside program goaltenders are encouraged to sign up by emailing the dates you are interested in attending to bean.clark@natickcomets.com. Each session will be limited to 6-8 goaltenders.

We welcome all girls and their families to join us for the GHDP Kickoff & Info Session on Tuesday, September 1 with music and some fun competitions.

7-14 years old (U8-U14 players)

We recommend players have completed Learn to Play prior to joining the GHDP program, however some girls are able to advance quickly after a few sessions of Learn to Play into the GHDP. With that said, if you’re unsure, please email Coach Sean to assess which program might be best for your daughter.
